Using your card

1. What is FleetCard?

FleetCard is a payment card designed to help manage your vehicle expenses.

It can be used for:

  • Fuel
  • EV charging (Optional)
  • Car washes (Optional)
  • Vehicle servicing and maintenance (Optional)
  • Roadside Assistance (Optional)

Your FleetCard may have purchase restrictions, so please check with your manager/ fleet manager to confirm what your card covers.

Non-fuel items, like snacks or coffee, are declined automatically. 

2. Where can I use FleetCard?

For Fuel:

FleetCard is accepted at over 6,100+ fuel stations, covering over 90% of sites across Australia, including: Shell, Ampol, EG, BP, United, 7-Eleven, Caltex, and more. 

Use the FleetCard Site Locator or download the FleetCard Mobile App to find participating fuel stations near you.

For Non-Fuel:

If your FleetCard includes additional services such as repairs, car washes, battery or tyre replacement, and other vehicle maintenance, you can also use the Site Locator to find participating merchants nearby and make a booking.

For EV Charging (Available on FleetCard Electric Card Only): 

FleetCard Electric can also be used for EV charging at stations within the Chargefox network, giving you access to 2,200+ EV charging points across Australia.

To find your nearest EV stations, download the Chargefox app.

3. How to complete a transaction?

For fuel purchase:

  1. Note your vehicle’s odometer reading if required.
  2. Refuel and go to the transaction counter.
  3. Swipe your FleetCard and enter the odometer reading if prompted.
  4. If asked for a PIN and none is assigned, just press “enter” at the end.

For EV charging stations:

  1. Use the Chargefox app to locate charge points.
  2. Plug in the cable and tap your FleetCard Electric card on the reader.
  3. When charging is complete, tap your card again to end the session.

For additional services (such as repairs, car washes, and more):

Before the service is completed, please ensure you present your FleetCard to the merchant. The merchant may carry out a few checks, which may include contacting FleetCard for verification. 

While some merchants have terminals that allow the card to be swiped, this is not universally available. To ensure a seamless transaction, we recommend informing the merchant at the start, that you intend to pay using your FleetCard. 

When you’re ready to pay, simply present your FleetCard at the terminal to complete the transaction, just as you would at a fuel station.

4. What if my card is lost or stolen?

Notify your head office, fleet manager, or office manager immediately to have the card terminated and replaced.

5. What if my transaction is declined?

Contact your head office or FleetCard Customer Service at 1300 881 246.

Declines can occur if:

  • The fuel type does not match the cards restriction
  • Non-fuel items are included in the purchase
  • The transaction exceeds the card’s limit

6. How do I use Roadside Assistance (if available)?

If your FleetCard includes Roadside Assistance, dial 1300 975 114 in case of a breakdown.
Make sure to verify with your fleet manager what services your card covers.

7. Can I earn Flybuys points with FleetCard?

Yes, simply present your Flybuys card at any participating Reddy Express stations each time you make a fuel purchase with FleetCard to earn points.
