Join ecoDRIVE to make your fleet more environmentally friendly. Our carbon offsetting program helps you make a positive impact on the planet by planting native forests that contribute to offsetting your fleet’s fuel emissions
ecoDRIVE is a flexible opt-in program. When you choose to take part in ecoDRIVE, it is simply added to all the cards across your Business Fuel Card account and immediately starts to offset your carbon emissions.
Every year your business will receive an e-Certificate from Business Fuel Cards listing the number of trees planted and the expected tonnes of CO2 offset through the program.
We have been proudly offering ecoDRIVE to our customers since 2015 through our partnership with Green Earth Appeal and Green Fleet.
Using your contributions, Green Earth Appeal and Green Fleet plants native forests that are legally protected for 100 years, so you are supporting long-term carbon sequestration while providing habitats for native birds and wildlife.
ecoDRIVE only costs $2.25 per card (excl. GST) per month and can be easily added to your new or existing account.
For 25 years, Greenfleet has been protecting the climate by restoring our forests. By planting native biodiverse forests in New Zealand and Australia, Greenfleet restores critical ecosystems and reduces carbon emissions for businesses like yours. To date, they have planted 10 million trees, offset 3.9 million tonnes of carbon, and created over 500 native forests.

What is carbon offsetting?
Carbon offsetting allows individuals and businesses to compensate for the carbon dioxide emissions that their actions release into the atmosphere by funding an equivalent amount of emissions savings elsewhere or preventing them from being released in the first place. In other words, you can use carbon offsetting to reduce your fleet’s emissions impact.
Why plant trees?
Planting trees is a form of carbon offsetting that has many benefits for the planet. Forests play an important role in absorbing carbon from the atmosphere, improving soil and water quality, and providing vital habitat for native wildlife.
